Thanks to Meagan Anstruther for attending our High Performance sparring class last night to share her AT experience with us. She intends to pursue a career in professional athletic training in 2019. We hope to introduce more sports professionals with experience with different aspects of athlete development and also personal development. Our kiids are the future of Canada and our job is prepare them for that future.

First day of new black belt program went very well. Black belt performance showed more intensity, while colour belts were drilled by master Seecharan on basics. Master Ho introduced some refinements to our numchuk patterns.

Oct 22 week schedule. Promotion Test this month starts at 6:00 pm on Friday. There is a Friday 5:00 pm class ending at 5:50 pm. October FIST forems due this week. Tournament is here on Saturday, Oct 27th starting a 1:00 pm. Paterns and numchuks go first, demo around 2:15 pm, then sparring a breaking starting at 2:30 pm. Black belt pre-test included with Friday promotion Test.

Once again our Team Furious represented our school very well. In spite of many entry level officials still learning, obnoxious parents and the totally wrong decision to do sparring before patterns, coach Michael Seecharan led Jerome, JJ, Khalid, Alexandra and Anna to 6 medals at last count. Many people are still not reading emails, checking schedules for the October changes. Mon, Tue & Thu are 5:30, 6:30 & 7:30 only. Wed & Fri is 5:00, 6:00, 7:00 & 8:00 pm. Saturday is unchanged. 10 & 11 am.

Wednesday classes. 5:00 pm little dragons; 6:00 pm youth one step; 7:00 pm practical sefl defence black belt; 7:00 pm family class one step; 800 pm high performance sparring.

Thanks to parents, athltes and our coach who participated this weekend. Saturday our team won gold in 3 of 4 sparring divisions and 1 silver. Also 2 silver and bronze in patterns. Sunday was our first foray into HP sparring. Thanks to Tim, Rex and JJ for toughing out their first experience. I'm very proud of their effort. We know what we need to do.
